Well, color me curious. I know we’re nearing 2015 here, but I haven’t checked to see what’s new in Japan in a while. Every once in a while, I like to get updated. After all, I grew up there.
After realizing that Dragon Quest X was already out, I wanted to see what else was new.
The following video gave me a pretty good idea.
First of all, I’m really impressed with the graphics of all of the games. Certainly, graphics aren’t everything when it comes to video games, but you can’t help but be mesmerized by the new technology.
It’s interesting that they’ve brought back Saint Seiya, which was already an older manga and anime series when I was a kid. I suppose there must be some kind of resurgence in Japan…?
I’ve already talked a bit about Final Fantasy XV, so there isn’t too much to say here. It looks really good, but man, they have a long way to go to recover the errors they’ve committed with practically every installation since VII.
The Dragon Ball Z game also looks pretty cool, and the ability to use all the forms of a particular character for your team is pretty hilarious.
The J-Stars Victory Vs. game would be pretty cool, but it’s just another battle game like Dragon Ball Z, and I would much rather see a RPG like Hero Retsuden.
Anyway, if you’ve got some spare time, you might want to check these out yourself.
