I wish I could say we haven’t seen anything this bad since, but of course, there was the Justin Bieber movie. Yikes.
Supergirl might have made for an interesting film, if done correctly. However, it seems as though they could barely even decide on a genre let alone write a story around this loosely-defined character. Yes, even the comic books can’t tell you who Supergirl is. She must have escaped The Matrix (okay, fine, that wasn’t very funny).
This Nostalgia Chick review also features Linkara from Atop the Fourth Wall. When it comes to comic book characters, there are few people better to ask.
Cool Runnings is an almost-true Jamaican underdog story. John Candy is in this thing so you know that automatically redeems it in some small way, god rest his soul.
As Nostalgia Chick points out, all told, this movie still holds up pretty well. Who would have thought? That’s right, this isn’t a review of a particularly bad film. It’s just nostalgic.
Anyway, Return to Me is not good, it’s not bad. It’s a middle-of-the-road kind of movie. If you haven’t heard of it before, well, it’s kind of rare. I hadn’t heard of it either, so don’t feel so bad.
If you’re thinking about watching this thing, Nostalgia Chick’s review below should prove sufficient. You’ll get a lowdown on all of the good, the bad and the cheesy.
Reality Bites? Well, I’m just glad I haven’t actually watched this sucker, because it seems like the kind of movie that would frustrate me. The type of movie that frustrates me is the worst kind (Post Impact, Spring Breakers and The Babymakers comes to mind). Anyway, let’s let the Nostalgia Chick do the talking.
