4. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
This game was worth every penny it cost, because it was packed to the rafters with content.
I’ve actually talked about this game at length already, and I don’t necessarily have a lot more to add here. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a must-play game.
What they did right: they built one of the most amazing Action-RPGs to date. The controls, the visuals, the weapon system, the music, the dungeons, the light world and the dark world… it’s all really good.
What they got wrong: not much, but I will say this; the game has limited replay value. It’s compelling enough that you’ll probably want to do multiple play-throughs, but there’s only so much room for experimentation and variation.
