According to Joystiq, Breath of Death VII and Cthulu Saves the World – developed by Zeboyd Games – have sold extremely well on Steam. In fact, they made more revenue in less than a week on Steam than over 18 months on Xbox Live Indie Games.
Sure, this isn’t exactly a new story, but the point still stands. Does Xbox Live need to do a better job at promoting indie games? Furthermore, does the success of Zeboyd Games on Steam have to do more with the genre, or does it have to do more with a lack of marketing?
